Mr. Pratt represents multinational, foreign and domestic business enterprises in general and complex business and commercial litigation matters in the State Courts of California and United States District Court, including litigation involving: breach of contract, fraud and misrepresentation, business torts, secured transactions, and commercial real estate disputes. Mr. Kim has represented a broad range of clients, including banking and financial institutions, large commercial property owners, real estate developers, and media companies in litigation, mediation, arbitration, and trials involving various business, commercial, real estate, employment, and tort matters.
Mr. Pratt also has experience in criminal defense litigation, from white-collar criminal charges to serious and violent felonies, including cases subject to "Three Strikes" sentencing, and lesser charges. Mr. Pratt also has appellate advocacy experience and has successfully prevailed on appeals and writ petitions in the California Court of Appeals.
Mr. Pratt is admitted to practice in all of the Courts of the State of California and in the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
